Hazle Konerding, M.D.

Dr. Hazle Konerding has been a practicing dermatologist in the Central Virginia region for nearly 30 years. She is the founding partner of Commonwealth Dermatology and continues to serve as its President.
Dr. Konerding is Board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, and has been named Top Doc in Dermatology by Richmond Magazine. She is Past President of the Richmond Academy of Medicine and the Medical Society of Virginia and continues to serve on the MSV insurance center board of directors as well as the Virginia AMA delegations. She has held leadership positions in the American Academy of Dermatology and is currently Chair of Access Now, a virtual free clinic offering specialty medical care to indigent persons in Central Virgina. She has also served in a variety of leadership positions for Bon Secours Health System.
Dr. Konerding and her husband have 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. She has a passion for community service. Among the many ways she serves, has been her involvement in Rotary and other community organizations. Resume
Hazel Vernon, M.D.

Dr. Hazel Vernon was the first practicing dermatologist in Central Virginia to earn pediatric dermatology board certification status and has been an integral part of Commonwealth Dermatology since 1989. She is recognized by her peers as a Top Doc in Dermatology by Richmond Magazine and Virginia Living Magazine.
Dr. Vernon maintains her edge in the field by regularly providing training to residents from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine’s Department of Dermatology and giving lectures on pediatric dermatology at regional and national conferences. Laurie L. Shinn, M.D.

Dr. Laurie L. Shinn is a board-certified adult and pediatric dermatologist. Receiving her medical training in both pediatrics and dermatology at the Medical College of Virginia, Dr. Shinn has been practicing with Commonwealth Dermatology since 1998.
Identified as one of the premier pediatric dermatologists in the region, she also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor for Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Medicine, formerly known as the Medical College of Virginia, where she trains doctors in residence at the Department of Dermatology and Pediatrics. Dr. Shinn has served as a speaker on pediatric dermatology topics at national and regional levels. Her current board certifications include general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and pediatrics. She is one of the few board-certified Pediatric Dermatologists in the region and has been named a Top Doc by Richmond Magazine numerous times. Resume
Camille Haisley-Royster, M.D.

Dr. Camille Haisley-Royster is certified by the American Board of Dermatology as a General Dermatologist. Before joining Commonwealth Dermatology in 2003, Dr. Haisley-Royster received her medical training at Duke University and served on the Duke Faculty for Dermatology.
In addition to her practice, Dr. Haisley-Royster is also a speaker and author of several articles of Dermatology, her articles appearing in the Archives of Dermatology and Twenty Common Problems in Pediatrics as well as community magazines such as Richmond Family Magazine.
Dr Haisley-Royster is married with 3 children. She embraces a healthy lifestyle and stays active with her family. Resume
Dr. Raj Agarwal, M.D.

Dr. Agarwal graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed his internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News. He completed his Dermatology residency at the Medical College of Virginia’s Department of Dermatology in Richmond and joined Commonwealth Dermatology in 2012.
He has received numerous honors and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Medical Association, Medical Society of Virginia, Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key Honor Society. Resume

Dr. Sage specializes in medical and cosmetic dermatology. He received a Bachelor of Science degree with departmental honors from the University of Richmond and earned his medical degree from the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
He completed his internship in internal medicine at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, and his dermatology residency at the Weill-Cornell Medical College of Cornell University in New York, NY.
He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has numerous publications. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, biking, and reading. Resume

Margaret J. Constante, Nurse Practitioner, joined Commonwealth Dermatology in 2004 after six years of acute care surgery and trauma nursing at the Medical College of Virginia. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner earning her Doctor of Nursing Practice, from Old Dominion University in 2014 and her Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Norfolk State University where she graduated first in her class with Summa Cum Laude distinction in 1998. She is serving as an adjunct faculty member for Old Dominion University, School of Nursing Doctoral Program and as an advisor for doctorate nursing students in Capstone/research practicum course. Amy E. Black, Nurse Practitioner, joined Commonwealth Dermatology in 2007 after four years of physician practice experience in various specialty settings. She is board certified as a Nurse Practitioner, graduating with a Master’s Degree in the Science of Nursing in 2002.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001 where she was a member of the Nursing Honor Society and recipient of two scholarships based upon academic achievement. Lynne McElroy Wold, CFNP

Lynne McElroy Wold is a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She received her bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Clemson University where she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. She completed her master’s degree at the Medical College of Virginia-Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating summa cum laude.
Ms. Wold has worked in dermatology since 2004. Prior to 2004, she served in the areas of family medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine for 10 years. Additionally, she has worked as a certified diabetes educator. Her diverse background also includes cardiology and critical care. She holds an adjunct faculty position in the nurse practitioner program at Old Dominion University. Jonathan Rawson, M.E.

Jonathan Rawson is a Licensed Master Esthetician. He first earned his Esthetician license in 2014 from The Chrysm Institute of Esthetics in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He began teaching at the Chrysm Institute of Esthetics in March of that year as well. While teaching and preparing students in the basics of esthetics, Jonathan continued his own education as well, receiving his Master Esthetician License in August of 2015. He also received and Associate of Applied Science degree in computer Programming from the College of Albemarle, in Elizabeth City, N.C. in 2002.
